Shorter inguinal canal:  A forceps is passed medial to the inf. ep. art .
but lateral to the Lateral Umbilical Ligament. The forceps is passed through the scrotum.
A 7mm port is then railroaded into the peritoneal cavity.
Subdartose pouch:
A forceps is then passed through the scrotal port and the
testis along with port and forceps is pulled out through the scrotum. It is then anchored
in a subdartose pouch.
:Post operaative period: Oral fluids are started 6 hours after surgery .
The child is fully mobile the next day.
